BALIK SAA 2011

It's barely 1 week from today and we'll be having our Alumni Homecoming (Balik SAA 2011) and that is on December 30, 2011. We encourage every alumni - graduates as well as those who studied at Saint Anne for at least one  (1) year and then stopped schooling or transferred to another school to finish their schooling to join. This will be a very memorable one. Wondering why we're having this every year? Well, we're trying to impart in everyone's mind that every December 30 is Saint Anne Academy Alumni Homecoming and that by 2015, we'll be expecting a very successful Golden Anniversary Alumni Homecoming.

Remember, there's nothing to pay. We'll just pay for some extra drinks, unless your batch mate will pay it for you. And I know that will happen. It is because your memorable years in this great institution is nothing when compared to money.

the activities on this day will be: 7:00 Mass, 8:00 Motorcade around town and up to Capurictan and to Tonoton. Business hour/kumustahan afterward and then lunch. We encourage every Class to prepare food for their groups - something everyone will be sharing.  At 6:00 early in the evening, a cultural presentation will be shown by the SAA students and staff so please buy your own tickets. Don't worry, the ticket costs only P50.00 and it's absolutely entertaining that drags for 1 1/2 hour. The proceeds will be used to continue constructing the stage and basketball court.  After the show, well, it will be ours. We advice you to bring some snacks, probably miki or spaghetti or any finger food. Don't worry for the drinks because it will be available at the SAA Canteen. The canteen will also provide some free porridge and if we're lucky, the sponsor classes - 1971, 1976, 1981, 1986, 1991 and 1996 might prepare surprise food for us.

Also, on that day, please fill up the "Libro De Oro" if you haven't. I understand. Mrs. Rizalina Tejada Manzano was the lucky alumnus to be the first signatory. But be sure to hand in your minimal donation. The money will be used to augment the scholarship program of the school. Also, it will update our alumni list and the alumni whereabouts so that we will be best prepared for the Grand Homecoming in 2015.

Lastly, if you noticed, the sidebar of this blogsite have videos. This includes the full coverages of The Balik SAA 2010 and the Amianan: Gameng Naimbalitokan cultural show. I encourage you to watch them. Both were embedded from YouTube in a special playlist. You can enlarge it or view it separately on YouTube if the playlist don't work.

At this moment, this is your admin, Mr. Salvador Madamba of Class 1980 saying thank you for your support. I am also the creator of Saintanneacademy Piddig and Saint Anne Academy Piddig Alumni Fan Page on Facebook, SAINT ANNE ACADEMY ALUMNI ASSN (www.saintanneacademy.tk) on Blogger, PIDDIG COMMUNITY CHANNEL on Youtube, AGAMANG NI ULITEG VADY and SIDELINES on Blogger. Please visit these sites. I created them for the love of SAA and Piddig.

Thank you. See you at SAA on December 30. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

SAA BATCH 80 GET TOGETHER 2008

It was a dream come true. For 28 long years since we left the portals of Saint Anne Academy Piddig, here we are, gathered in one place happy in front of the camera. We remembered those days we spent in this beautiful school that molded us into responsible citizens. We remembered the joys and hardships we shared together and the thriumphs and achievements we earned for Saint Anne Academy. I can say as of now that this batch is one of the most successful one in the history of Saint Anne Academy. Many of our batchmates are respected in their chosen careers here and abroad and they are proud to show the world that Saint Anne Academy is a world class learning institution.

You would notice that there arte only about 30 of us in the picture. This is because many of our batchmates are working abroad or in far away places and it is too difficult for them to grace the occassion. As we have agreed during the get together party, we will replicate this occassion every year and we are in the planning of sponsoring the Grand Alumni Homecoming in 2010.
